Our year in Review

Almost a year has gone by since my last blog post. It's sad... I know. Here's a quick summary of what the last year has been like. I know it's a lot. I just know myself and I really don't think I'll sit here and make 8 seperate posts... So here we go.

Nick thought it would be a good idea to have Landon cut his hair. Apparently he's a better barber than me... ;)

For Valentine's Day Nick got me a boquet of seeds instead of flowers. Loved it!

A trip to the Woodland Park Zoo. We love the zoo. Animals are cool and it just makes for a relaxing day. A chance to get away from the norm. Not you Dad! HeeHee... Sorry couldn't resist. It always cracks me up that Nick is so willing to go right along with the kids and be a dork too. That's why I love him.

Mom and I had the opportunity to go to A time Out for Women. It was uplifting and refreshing. We laughed and cried and enjoyed the time with each other. Karina was planning on coming with us but she was sick in bed. We really missed her. Maybe next year!

We headed up North and went to the Tulip Festival. So much fun! I'm a plant and flower nerd so I was in heaven. The boys cracked me up. For one grant went to smell a flower and biffed it in the mud. He was brown from head to toe. Luckily the ladies at the consession stand took pitty on us and gave us an arsenal of napkins. The majority if the time they were stuffing carmel corn in there mouth. It was a good day.

We took pictures of toys. Just for fun.

Played dress up.

We went to the Seattle Science Center, which we love, to see the Star Wars exhibit. Yes, we are those kinds of geeks. It's okay, you can laugh. Landon was in heaven. Although chewbacca kind of scared him at first... It was pretty funny.

Elaina visited Washington for, well not long enough... :) I enjoyed every second I spent with her and miss her so much it makes my heart ache sometimes.

We had a birthday party for Dr. Suess. We had cupcakes that Elaina made for us. Divine. We had a blast.

Made this. I totally copied it from someone. I'd give them credit only I don't remember who it was. I like it. It makes me happy. Those are dictionary pages in case you can't tell.

We went to the flower and garden show. Once again, heaven! Loved it. So many great ideas. The kids had fun at the childrens garden. They got to plant a seed, dig around in the dirt, and play on the tracter. Good times.

Took lots of baths, too many to count.
